What are some of the most breathtaking places you have experienced for a romantic getaway?
What are some places that you haven’t been yet, but would love to visit on a romantic getaway?
I might not be any help with specific locales, but I will say that the destination is less important than the determination of spending time alone in a romantic mindset.
A weekend trip to a nice out of town hotel can be just as lovely as a longer trip out of the country if you’re both focused on each other and reconnecting.
You can dress up or dress down, have dinner someplace nice, have really romantic or really dirty sex, and just enjoy being in each other’s company.
That may not be what you’re looking for, but it’s just my thoughts.

I agree with your point, if it was just the location, all the rich actors and athletes would stay married forever and have great sex with their spouse. And the poor would always be getting divorced. Obviously it doesn’t work that way, because romance is based in the heart & mind and flows outward
We spent two weeks touring in central Australia. Then we spent two weeks at a tropical resort in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. That time seeing the sights etc. around Darwin and chilling at the resort were wonderful! There was a beautiful pool with a waterfall surrounded by tropical plants. We had some amazing fulfilling and intense lovemaking in our resort room after hanging out at the pool. I wrote that as a story for MH. I called it Darwin Delight.
Another romantic place was The Springs Resort at Arenal, Costa Rica. There are dozens of hot springs surrounded by beautiful lush tropical vegetation. The springs are lit up at night. We made love with our resort room window open. It faced the Arenal Volcano with our deck framed by tropical plants. We did some nude foreplay on that deck too!
We went to Iceland in November and got to see the Northern Lights. There is a gigantic hot springs there of blue water. It’s called the Blue Lagoon. We’ve been on several cruises and always had great sex in our cabin. It’s best if you spring for a balcony. My wife remembers: Mataranka pools in Australia. It’s a warm springs surrounded by trees. And of course walking down the Sienne to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, The sidewalk cafe in Rome. And many mountain lodges n cabins (including on our honeymoon). Cabin near whale watching in Baja California, Mexico and walking out under the stars at night. Walking down the beach in the Glápagos. Studying the volcanoes in Hawaii.
Melody said that wherever Tommy n Melody are together it’s romantic! Of course that includes our bedroom.
We are thinking of going to Ireland, Norway, and back to Iceland- but in the summer. I’d like to go somewhere with a completely private beach to make love out under the sun. Making love in a forest or in the grass or in a meadow would be sexy too.

Hidden Beach Mexico – gorgeous tropical paradise and you can go naked! The Playa Zipolite, in Oaxaca, is a great nude area too. We try as much as possible to find places to get naked when we travel. Our kids are out of the house so it makes these kinds of trips easier! For something closer, Miami's Haulover Beach is fun!

All of those locations have strict rules about public sex. Hidden beach in Mexico will look the other way at times. Mike and I did have sex there while people watched us. But it’s good to keep in mind that any of those places reserve the right to throw you out. I’ve never heard of that happening but something to keep in mind.
It is a wonderful and intense feeling to fuck and cum in front of other people, but we would not try the same at Haulover for example. Better to enjoy the sun and surf on your naked body, then retreat to your room to get busy!

Anyplace tropical is great. We’ve been to Hawaii a bunch but never to the Caribbean or Cancun or other places in LA.
We have enjoyed Five Pine Lodge in sisters Oregon. Hot tub cabin in gatlinberg Tennessee is great. Anniversary Inn in Boise was ok. Cool historic inn at Hot Springs SD. Cruise balcony is hot – especially with friends right next door who could catch us.
Obviously if you have money to travel you can do this more. But I don’t think it’s necessary. Make your own romantic destination at home, in nature, or even at a less expensive hotel.

I travel a LOT, but it’s usually work-related or involves visiting aging family members. Sometimes we try to make a bit of a romantic getaway during a necessary trip if we’re traveling together.

We’re based in Paris, France, so getting away somewhere romantic in Europe is relatively easy and something Master Joe and I try to make time for whenever we can.
Some of our favourites are Ibiza and the Greek islands. There’s something about that bohemian escapism, sun-drenched beaches, and slow, lazy evenings that really stirs the senses. Last year we discovered Marrakesh, and it completely captivated us. The colours, the scents, the heat… so different from Europe, yet just a few hours by plane from Paris.
And for a midwinter escape, I would absolutely recommend the Azores. Peaceful, lush, and quietly warm, it is the perfect place to disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other.

Maybe it’s a bit weird but whenever I stay in a very old place sometimes I think of all the sex that has been had there over the centuries and it’s kind of hot to think about!
Ooh, this is a topic I've definitely thought about! My go-to romantic getaway would be the beach. I am a beach girl. Whenever our family takes a beach vacation, I'm extra horny and have to steal time to masturbate. I do an agree that a tropical location sounds like a great time. I’ve thought that the bungalows on the water in the Maldives sound like a blast. I love the thought of fucking in the open room with nothing but ocean as far as you can see.

The question is whether you mean good places to have sex or are you talking about where you can be romantic and just enjoy one another's company.
I can't say that when we go on vacation it's necessarily for romance it's more for destination. Although as I have said before we have gone to nude beaches and we did actually have sex on one in Spain.
The thing to remember is there aren't a lot of places in the world where you can have spontaneous sex openly in public. As far as I know there's only like six countries. And I don't think there's anywhere in the United States that you can go without concern of breaking the law.
As for romance I agree with what was said before in that you can be romantic anywhere. It's that you are going someplace that you both want to go to and you being there is what makes it romantic. Sharing the experience!
We have been to some of the nude beaches like haulover and blacks beach which although it was a hike to get to from the parking lot and I wouldn't do it anymore today because I'm just too old for that.
Other than that, an inclusive resort is usually a good place to go because everything's paid for and it's more worry-free and safe.
I've had girlfriends that have gone to some places that were just for the purpose of having sex. And I wouldn't recommend any of those for a person of faith.
But I do like some of the things I've heard already in the comments. Lot of places that we've never been to and I'm surprised that you didn't get any more responses.

Out of curiosity which are the six countries where sex in nature is allowed? I take it that Spain is one of them.

Cape Cod ( Brewster especially), and Wells, Maine are a couple of our favorite places. I like anywhere the waves are crashing.
