Are You Having Trouble Posting Your Story?

Update: Until we get this glitch figured out, anyone affected is welcome to submit stories by email at contact@marriageheat.com or by using the contact form in the menu. We’ll assign them to your username so they’ll show up on your My Account and Author pages.

Hi, MHers.

We got a couple of messages from people who’ve tried submitting stories only to have them not make it through. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? If so, would you just give us a quick note in the comments? It might help us diagnose the issue if we can figure out how widespread it is.

Also, we highly recommend always writing in your own word processing program and just copy/pasting to the submission form. Technology is so fallible. We’d hate for you to lose your work to a story-eating glitch!

One more reminder: There’s a two-click submission process. You have to choose between “Save as Draft” or “Submit for Approval,” then hit the Submit button. There are lots of stories in Drafts that we wonder if some of you meant to submit for approval instead. If you thought you submitted but haven’t seen your story scheduled, it might be worth taking a look on your My Account page under the “Unfinished Stories” tab.

Thanks and God Bless Your Marriage!

I submitted one on the 3rd. It’s showing in my “Submitted for approval” category. Don’t know if this is part of that problem or it’s just waiting.

    MH,
Only trouble I am having is that it doesn't want to save my story. I usually have to go back and re-write a couple times before it saves. Then have to do it again the next time.
Sorry so late getting with you. I have been really busy.

Okay, thanks for letting us know! We always recommend that authors write in a word processor and copy-paste to the submission form so your work isn't lost. But there shouldn't be repeated failures to save like that. You are the second person to tell us about it, so that means it's on our end somewhere. We'll get on that.

Thanks, Captain J, for letting us know. Are you copy/pasting them into the form or typing them in directly? We are trying to get a handle on exactly what's going on. We can't seem to replicate the issue from our end.

If anyone wants to, you can submit your stories by email to contact@marriageheat.com or by using the contact form. We can copy/paste them and assign them to your account from the back end.
