Question about Sex in Water

Some of you have told stories of having sex either in a pool or hot tub, or a natural body of water like a lake or the ocean.  What do you ladies do for lubrication? Every time I’ve tried to finger myself in the shower or bath, it’s quite painful because water doesn’t work as lube.  I’d love to hear how you manage it.  Since I have some sizzling ideas for water lovemaking with my future husband, I want to get all the tips to make it enjoyable.  Thanks in advance!

We buy Astroglide from Walmart. The regular stuff washes off in the water but they have a waterproof silicone variety with a black label that works great. It ca be paired well with waterproof vibrators or toys. Enjoy!

Best thing, is a silicone based lube, like Beachluver mentioned. Astroglide is what we use. Only drawback, is if you use it, and then move on to oral, it tastes terrible!
    Other things we have done:
For PIV, is I slowly work my cock into her pussy. Not easy, but it can be done. Once inside, instead of the usual long strokes in & out, I only do short ones, since there is so much friction. It's actually kind of fun!
For rubbing her clit, either of us, same thing applies. Rub, but short strokes only so you don't try and stretch the skin much if at all. I imagine this will not work for some, as some need some furious rubbing to get over the top, but it's worth a try!
Handjobs are easy! We don't use for regular handjobs anyway, so we know the technique!

While you are in there, speaking of a pool, grab the garden hose, turn on the water, and aim it at your clit. This is how my wife first masturbated to orgasm! Needless to say, when it was her turn to clean the pool, she never complained!

The wife and I have tried this a couple of times and found a few things that work. First off, water based lubes wash off very quickly in water (who would have thought?) but silicone based lubes like Astroglide work great. If it's spontaneous and your lube isn't handy, we have found that extensive foreplay to get her good and moist with her own juices helps. Then a slow insertion and shorter grinding motions help. I feel like I should mention that there can be similar issues in the shower since water makes a poor lubricant, but since you aren't submerged they can be more easily overcome.

I just never had good luck with sex in the water. It seemed like a great idea, but it was almost always a letdown. We never tried the silicone lube though, so that might be something to give a go. If it works, write about it!

Underwater sex didn’t work very well for us. However, we have had hot tub or jetted tub sex, or shower sex many times! We’ve had sex in the private changing room of several pools or health clubs. We’ve played a bit in pools then gotten back to our home or hotel room and peeled off the swimsuits n gone into an immediate lovemaking sex session too.

Often we’ve had my wife kneel on a seat in the jacuzzi or on a bench in the changing room n I’ve stood behind her in a kind of standing doggy position.

We sometimes stay at themed inns with a large jetted tub. Playing sexually together in those tubs and next to them has been epic. Frequently my wife gives me the fallatio gift while I stand and she sits in the water. We’ve had sex fun at hot springs resorts too – but only if we were in a private place.

Stroking each other underwater and nipple play in tubs or hot tubs has been a lot of fun too.

When we were younger we had frequently done shower sex in standing doggy position with my wife bent over. But physical limitations don’t allow that now. It always started with her giving me oral and sometimes me kneeling in the shower to give her oral. Then she’d bend over for my hard erection to enter her pussy from behind.

Somehow water involved in sex is well, very sexy. Even if it isn’t underwater sexual ntercourse.

We often engage in water play I’m not a fan of any lubricant so start your fun outside of the water on the top step then slip into the water. Foreplay is key to keep your natural juices flowing. Try coconut oil if that fails.

I agree, if I am just playing in the shower my hand gets me going without lube. But in a pool or hot tub either start before entering if you produce a great deal of lube as I used to, or use silicone based like Astro.

late to comment on this, as ability to connect to the site was impaired, for whatever reason.
We enjoy water play, in a shower, jacuzzi, tub, pool, lake or ocean, & our experience is that penetrative sex is uncomfortable unless lube is used, Water based lubes, as well as some of the "hybrid" lubes we've used, seem to stop their effectiveness in water. They quickly break down and wash away. A silicone based lube works great. Any friction w/o a lube in water can result in a friction "burn" and should be avoided . Chaffing or even tissue damage may result, and put an end to the fun. Silicone lube is also great if a woman experiences a wet orgasm.. I've written a soon- to -be -posted story about our experiences in this matter.

My wife has never expressed any discomfort when we had sex in the ocean. We find if I do not pull out at all she remains pretty well lubricated naturally. Additionally, we do not spend extended periods of time having intercourse in the water which reduces the possibility of any issues.

Have had sex in the ocean a few times with wife, no problem whatsoever with lubrication for her, all natural. As I said no problems, apart from the time the current and waves got really strong and she nearly drowned, but on the plus side she was still very moist and I was her hero for saving her!
