Need A Water Based Lubricant

Hello all,

I am almost embarrassed to ask, but my wife is going through menopause and can’t stay wet. Her doctor told her baby oil is no good (which we had been using for years). Anyone have a brand of lubricant that they prefer?

Thanks for the help!

Astro Glide is the best, not the gel but the liquid. You also may consider coconut oil…all natural, available on the grocery store. We started using AstroGlide when had our first baby. Picked it up again during menopause but (she is 55) lately there has been a resurgence down there and she does not need it anymore!

Thank You Southern gent. She told me that is why she doesn’t want to have sex, because it hurts. So i ill try other kinds of lube and see what happens. I think it is just a excuse

I use Key brand Vitamin E vaginal suppositories once a week and ID Glide water soluble lubricant for all sexual activity. Works like a charm. (both are available through Amazon.com)

Astroglide is absolutely the best. Been using for years and still works like a charm to lube up my wife’s dildo, for lubrication if we need it or if I want to masturbate.

My wife and I are both 59, so we understand the need for lubricant. The best thing we found was virgin coconut oil.
First we use it in cooking because it’s healthier and she’s able to produce more natural lubricant from coconut oil being in our diet.
Secondly I use it when I give her a massage for her dry skin. It’s a very erotic massage of course.
Thirdly will use it as a lubricant because it doesn’t turn sticky or dry out too fast. Plus nothing is more arousing than seeing her breasts shiny wet ! It gets me hard again every time.
You will need to heat it up if it turns cloudy by putting it in a small bottle and warming it in warm cup of water. Caution do not microwave! it may get too hot and cools to. lumpy consistency.
We have definitely increased our sex life since starting coconut oil.
Now the sight and taste and smell of coconut oil has a very erotic effect.:)

I, unfortunately, have a lot of experience in this area. Different reasons, same problem. I not only had dryness but couldn’t use anything with ANY kind of sugar. This brought us to find and order a product called “YES YES YES”. It is truly amazing. It comes a long way, UK, but is completely worth it! Read the testimonials and information on their website. It’s very different than anything here.

Lucky for us when we need it – there are several that work just fine : Coconut Oil (Unrefined, extra-virgin, cold-pressed coconut oil) ID Glide, Slippery Stuff. By the way – coconut oil as it’s called is NOT mineral oil, it’s the “juice” squeezed from the fruit itself, it can be used for hundreds of things from cooking to squeaky door hinges – it’s a solid at 75 degrees or colder and liquid above – as lubricant – it is fantastic – buy it at the grocery store and enjoy – plus it smells good too 🙂 if it’s not this you’re getting the wrong stuff: Unrefined, extra-virgin, cold-pressed coconut oil

We keep coming back to “Liquid Silk”. A bit more expensive, but well worth it. More a cream than a liquid so it is not so watery, Does not contain glycerin. Relatively long lasting as well.
