Hi, everyone. I’ve been a reader for years and finally thought to get more active here and post something. I haven’t found much support from my friends on this topic, and I’m turning to you, MH friends, to share more about squirting/female ejaculation.
I love to do both, and my husband finds it a joy to bring me so much pleasure. This topic is very interesting to me. I often feel that I could squirt when I'm masturbating, but I think two things are holding me back. One is that I have a lot of hypertension and tight muscles, so it's hard to get my body to relax. My wife and I have been on an interesting journey of sex self-education, including researching online (reputable sources), reading a number of sex books during the past few years, and trying out new things we’ve read about—including learning about squirting/female ejaculation. As a result, my wife has learned how to squirt/ejaculate when her body is ready, and I have learned how to bring her to that point where she can squirt if she wants to. She can now squirt from manual stimulation or oral (an amazing experience for me!) and she has more recently learned how to make herself squirt while self-pleasuring. She is quite proud of her new skills in this area; it has brought her a new degree of satisfaction during sex, and it seems like this has been a hidden feminine superpower for all those decades of our marriage when we had not even heard about it. She had never squirted before deliberately learning how to, not even accidentally. Jill Marie – It is interesting that so many of the responders to your question have been men. I’d like to see more women respond. 777mojo – and to MH… I could simply list the books here but I’d rather also give my recommendations some context if that’s OK. (I guess it’s a bit of a book review, but I’m not sure if this is the right place for a longer response.)
Two of the sex books that have helped my wife and I learn about female ejaculation (and many other sexy things) are:
‘Women’s Anatomy of Arousal: Secret Maps to Buried Pleasure’ by Sheri Winston. This award-winning book includes a detailed discussion and illustrations of female anatomy (there is more to female genitalia than we previously knew) and the processes that enable female ejaculation and orgasmic experiences (which we learned can be separate events). For my wife and I, this book gave us an important foundation – what is the equipment and how does it work? It also included a helpful summary guide for me as a guy to understand how to pleasure my woman.
Sheri is often a guest speaker on sex and relationships podcasts (available in the usual places online), where we’ve found she is an interesting and informative speaker in response to typical questions people ask around female arousal, orgasm and squirting.
She says: “there seems to be a small number of women who are natural ejaculators… however for most women this is a learned skill.” Her book helped us learn how to make squirting happen but we also learned a lot more besides, so I think it is a useful read for men and women, whether or not you are targeting squirting as a specific skill or just wanting to improve your sex knowledge in general (whether in a marriage or a single woman or man in preparation for married life, or a single woman for self-discovery and self-pleasuring).
For another approach to sex education in this area you could check out the 2022 book by Kenneth Play ‘Beyond Satisfied: A Sex Hacker’s Guide to Endless Orgasms, Mind-Blowing Connection and Lasting Confidence’. Kenneth loves to research, simplify (‘hack’) and teach a wide range of sex techniques to ordinary people. It includes a full chapter on squirting and QR codes printed throughout provide links to online animated illustrations of specific sex techniques. Finally, my wife and I like to read research around sex and relationships where we can. In that regard, a current research project on squirting/female ejaculation being overseen by Dr Zhana, professor of human sexuality at NYU, which is explained at squirtingsurvey dot com might be of interest to readers.
One comment on the above books is that they are not written from a Christian perspective (I would love to see more Christians become experts and ‘thought leaders’ in the field of sex, but I have not yet found any explicit teaching by a Christian on squirting/female ejaculation). So while the above two authors are experts in this particular field of sex, I am not endorsing their lifestyles or their religious beliefs, and when those are expressed in these sorts of books I try to learn about them with compassion, or think about a Christian equivalent, but not blindly adopt them (or you can just skip those bits completely). I trust people in the MH community are mature enough to choose wisely what they read or watch and ‘test out’ any content against their own beliefs.
