Update on Mom (GG)
Hey, this is Alicia. Well, mom is still in the ICU. The doctor informed us that it seems mom has suffered a stroke. He said it is still touch and go right now, and gives her a 40-50% chance of making it through. They are doing everything in their power to help her. He said that she is a strong woman (as we all knew), and to keep the faith.
I am so sorry it has taken so long, but things have been kinda stressful right now. Please keep sending those prayers, as anything is possible through Christ Jesus. We honestly do appreciate it so very much. I will try to keep everyone informed. Thank you all and may the Lord continue to bless everyone.

So sorry to hear it's worse than first thought. I'm praying for her healing, for the medical staff's wisdom and skill, and for comfort and strength for all of you who are supporting her.
The Lord is sovereign over all, and I know that whatever the outcome, she will be surrounded by people who love her deeply.

This news broke my heart for you Alicia and the family. Gina (your mom) is a bright start on your lives and many others (us/me). Faith and intimate delight come to mind! Many prayers for her!!

I have never had a stroke, but I once had a condition that is "one notch short of a stroke". It was terrifying. I couldn't talk right, and answering the doctor's questions was SO difficult. It's like being trapped inside one's own body.
Praying for your mom.
A few days ago I was thinking about your mom, questioning about how she was doing after your dad died. I just read this, which made me sad to read. I hope and pray that she will do fine. Also for you all as kids from such great parents!
Recovery from a stroke is long and hard.
