Protecting Our “Us”

Our love will be the fortress to withstand any enemy outside of our relationship.  We will be vigilant to protect our marriage covenant.  Decisions as well as the direction in our future life together will be filtered through this bedrock place that stands.  This is right after God’s place in our hearts.  Another words; it’s God first, “us” next.  Period!

I have a dream that we will one day be able to draw away from the stress, struggles and cares of this world into our own loving, supporting and caring place.  Both of us will be a student of the other’s hopes, needs, and desires.  Our loving times will give us freedom from the hurts and lies of the past.  It will be a time of HIS Word, HIS Presence and HIS Gift of intimacy.

We will connect through; touch, corny jokes, massages, sacrificial serving, listening from the heart, speaking up to express secret treasures of once hidden fantasy and so much more.  NO thing & NO one other than the two of us will be here.  We will protect our marriage bed with all our determination and at all costs.  This will be our way of staying connected in friendship, honesty, teamwork, accountability, dreaming, and passion.  There will be times in this part of our day when we will be focused on quality and other times we will be able to focus on quantity.
