Please Pray for LovingMan

Hello, dear MHers. LovingMan and his Melody had a health scare last night that led to his immediate admittance to hospital. His regular doctor has scheduled him for emergency surgery tomorrow.

He told me that both he and Melody have received comfort from the Holy Spirit as to this incident. He’s requesting prayers from his “MH family of friends” that his “kind of scary” surgery would go well and that he’ll be released after a couple of days of recovery as planned.

Would you please join me in praying for Lovingman and his wife, family, doctors, and other caregivers? He believes deeply in the power of prayer (as do I) and will benefit greatly from your comments and encouragement before heading into the operating room.

Love in Christ,

Missy

I am sorry for your trouble LM. I will pray for the doctors hands to be guided by the Holy Spirit and that you will make a full and speedy recovery. I pray that Melody will also receive comfort and reassurance from the Holy Ghost. My prayers are with you brother.

Thank you IsoH, Q&H, and KM! I really appreciate your prayers 🙏 and encouragement. About to go under the knife in a few minutes.

Hey everyone thanks for your kind hopeful words of encouragement! Surgery went pretty well but I have to be checked out next month too for continuing problemas. We just got home from the hospital tonight. It’s a 100 mile or 1.6 km drive.

I am very grateful for the power of prayer. Medically I’m nearly two decades past my expiration date but the Lord is keeping me around mortality, and I am trying to keep making a difference for good in my small sphere of existence.

😀 😀 I love that you still keep it frisky even at the hospital! Also surprised that the nurses didn't notice a dramatic rise in your pulse rate. Happy you're doing well. I know you've mentioned certain health problems related to high altitude before and I don't know if this was at all related, but this is something that has been on my mind for a while. Even if your grandchildren don't see you as often, I'm sure they'd rather have you around, and I see no shame or capitulation in the need to move to a lower-altitude state for health reasons. Take care of yourself!
