A Man of his Word!

I hadn’t long been going out with Tony when I realised he was very much in love with me and was really protective of my welfare. This was great although I wasn’t quite sure whether he was strong enough to keep me in order as I was quite a lively brat and he was a pretty quiet person. However, I found out one day, much to my delight, that he was indeed able to put his foot down with me with a very firm hand indeed!

There was an alert on the college campus as there was a rapist on the loose and girls had been warned to be careful of going out in the evening. I had to go to the library that evening but Tony told me to wait till he came and he would take me to the library.

I decided to be sassy: “What will you do if I go on my own?” I teased with a schoolgirl expression.

I didn’t know whether he was serious but I decided to test him out by going to the library before he came for me. So when I explained to him that evening what I had done then you can guess what happened. He was serious!
