Cruise Escape

My husband and I are both in our early 40s. Last year we were trying to think of something special to do for our upcoming anniversary (we wanted to do more than our usual dinner at a nice restaurant) and my husband’s colleague, who is nearing retirement age, suggested that we go on a cruise. At first we were look warm at the idea. My parents have gone on cruises before and they said everyone was around their age or older. We didn’t really want to spend our anniversary in an environment where there was probably a lot less excitement than we’re used to.  Nearly a month later we still hadn’t figured out anything to do, we decided that we might as well go ahead and book the cruise.

We were expecting the other passengers to be older than we were, and we weren’t surprised. They were all 50 or older. We did our best to be positive but in truth, we were feeling quite unenthused about the whole thing (even though we met some very nice people along the way) … that is, until later that first night: we found ourselves alone, on deck, with a brilliant canopy of stars above us. What could be more romantic! It turned out that the other passengers had already gone to their rooms for the night! It was completely deserted except for the occasional crew member.  We snuggled up together in one of the double deck chairs and began to cuddle and caress each other under a blanket while we took in the amazing sky.  As amazing as it was, it became hard to concentrate on it as my husband explored  my garden with one hand and gently caressed my breast with his other.  As I became more aroused my hand would slip to his firming member and began to stroke him up and down lingering at the head with my fingertips. We could hardly wait to get back to our room where we  ravaged each other, falling asleep to the sounds of the waves outside our window.

Each night of the cruise, everyone except us retired to their rooms by 10:00pm and some even earlier. We spent every night all alone on the deck of the ship.  Each night we became a little more adventurous as we wore more loosely fitting cloths and found more secluded locations, with just as great view, gazing at the stars, with total privacy!  The dining room was very accommodating and put together some delicious late-night snacks for us to enjoy all by our lonesome. On the third night it happened, not with the open passion of our bedroom, of course, but the subtle gentle cuddling as we gazed at God’s back velvet, star speckled creation.  As our under blanket caressing progressed, we moved to lay beside each other in spoon fashion where my husband slipped inside me  and we began to rock gently back and forth.  We didn’t make it back to our cabin that night until the wee hours of the morning.  It was so romantic, definitely one of the most romantic anniversaries we’ve had.”
