Another Great Site!
I’ve been reading and enjoying MarriageHeat for quite some time now. It has inspired me and has kept me going with hope for better things to come. I’ve been married for nearly 29 years, and over those years, my wife and I have enjoyed some wild, passionate, and incredible sex. (I do have a few stories started, just need to finish and submit.) However, over the past few years, we’ve been in a very dry, low season. Life, kids, and now grandkids seem to have taken over.
This site and another have been much-needed resources. Obviously, we are all familiar with the incredible authors and stories here on MH. The other site, while similar in purpose, offers the opportunity for discussion and conversation with other like-minded, sex-positive Christians who are looking to keep their marriages full of passion and enjoy all that God intended sex to be.
The site is Songs of the Believers.* I feel it is well-moderated; the Admin and Hosts do their best to weed out ‘lurkers’ and ‘trolls’. The site itself is a treasure trove of other users’ life experiences, wisdom, discussion, conversation, and encouragement.

I have requested to join that website 2 or 3 times. I answer the questions and fill in all the other information, but I never get any reply from them. No reply that I am accepted and enrolled or that my request to join is declined. I obviously don’t know how to become a member at that website… Can anyone enlighten me?

Ive been a member of that site on 2 separate occasions. I'm still trying to figure out what I believe is ok as far as before marriage and masturbation/erotica/porn go. I really enjoyed the site. But due to my own hangups and weird guilt moments, I left it twice, so I doubt I'll ever be able to get in again. I wish there was another site that was similar to that but was a little more accessiable for when my brain screws me over.
Thank you for your comment. We have had many who have left and come back and vice versa. Our focus is on marriage and we try to keep it on that.

Hi, I tried to join that same website, twice, and got nothing but crickets. I answered all the questions thoroughly and I believe I did everything right…and got nothing. What is the deal?
I’m not an admin at SoTB, but I’ve been a member there for 9 months. From what I hear, they got flooded with new applications in June & July. It’s a manual process, which creates a bottleneck, and the possibility for human error. I’ve heard some people getting approved in 2-4 days, and others taking 4-6 weeks. It’s likely NOT anything personal about you, it’s just a classic backlog during a more relaxed summer season. PM me when you arrive!!
Not sure if this is still an active discussion. I would like to join the Songs of the believers site, but I can't find a way to sign up. I can get to the sign in page, but nowhere for a new sign up. Can anybody help?
