Question about Going Panty-less
This is for the ladies of MH!
A lot of you talk about sexy episodes with your man where you don’t wear any underwear. I love the idea and intend doing it if I ever get married. But I’m curious: what about when your vagina is leaking cervical mucus? (Obviously going panty-less isn’t viable during menstruation).
For quite a few days each cycle, a woman secretes mucus. How do you keep from getting those fluids on stuff when you’re commando? Sometimes before ovulation my underwear is soaked or gooey. It will even hang out in long, stringy, egg-white-like drips that need to be wiped up when I use the bathroom.
I’ve never NOT worn underwear and can’t imagine doing so while I’m around my family members.

From personal experience, most obviously during menstruation I wear my undergarments and sanitary pads. I am usually quite reserved and prefer no intimacy during that time. During other times (especially prior to ovulation and during it) I only wear undergarments during the span of the day. I do not wish for any of my bodily fluids to touch surfaces in other places.
At night however, as per Sir’s request, I wear little clothing (usually nighties without undergarments).
We use soft fabrics as well for our bedsheets which are easy to wash, so it is not too much of an issue. We also use towels, blankets (one of my friends gifted me an intimacy blanket sometime after my wedding) to use.
It can be a bit messy, but then again so is intimacy generally! I think you should do whatever you feel comfortable doing given the time and resources you have in married life, and not be too afraid of a bit of clean up.
Thank you for that response! Yes, I have grasped that being a woman is messy at times, but I'm learning to embrace it! I guess I'll just have to see what happens if I ever meet and marry the right guy and I want to be more daring with him.

While every woman’s personal experience may be unique, I really like SophTea’s perspective.
Her last paragraph encapsulates things nicely, IMHO. Things can get a little messy down there, but it’s a beautifully feminine thing and I, for one, just love it. It’s true that in certain places and at certain times, some discretion might be in order. But personally, if things were different with me and my wife, I would insist that she not wear panties and we would embrace all of her vaginal wonders.
I appreciate a man's viewpoint too. I still pray for your marriage. I know God is at work. There have been a couple of revelations concerning my own parents that give me hope for their healing and marital transformation. So I know the same can happen with you and your wife. Just continue to do right and love the Lord. He will honor that.
Please continue to do so LLL. Things are escalating in a negative way, and she has made threats to leave me if she can get a certain thing. If she does, I will be completely ruined in every way. I will have nowhere to go and no one to turn to for help.
We exist in an uneasy peace on the best of days, and lately, that has been teetering in the wrong direction. I’m at my wits end, honestly. I do have a peace in my heart, but I’m so overwhelmed with stress and anxiety, that I can barely feel it most days.
