Please Bear With Us

Hi, MH family. We are sorry to report that the login issue seems to have not been solved after all. For some users some of the time, the submit button on the login form will gray out when hovered over and clicking has no effect. If this occurs, please click the red “lost password” link and try logging in from there. It’s a temporary workaround while the developer tries to remedy the situation.

A related problem has also come to light. A few people have reported problems with saving and/or submitting stories from the “Create a New Story” link. For some, the process seems to go through but the post is not saved or submitted. For others, the story will save, but only some of it. We’ve reported this second issue to the developer and are awaiting a reply.

Technology can be a b-word sometimes, and we are far from skilled with computer programming. That’s why we recommend in the guidelines that authors do not compose their stories in the submission form.  Instead, use Google docs or MS Word or another word processor to write and save your post, then copy/paste the text into the submission form. That way, even if something goes wrong, all your hard work won’t be lost. And remember to choose whether you want to Save as Draft or Submit for Approval before hitting that last Submit button.

On an unrelated note, payment processing for Ignite memberships is currently on hold as we establish a relationship with a new card handler and membership platform. This may take a little while. We’ve extended the memberships for those of you who have already subscribed as supporters, but new signups won’t be possible until the new system is in place.

We are so sorry for this confusion and inconvenience. It’s a blessing to us to enable your encouragement of each other by sharing your stories of marriage heat, so we are doing our best to get things functioning correctly again. May God bless your relationships with your spouses in every area, not just the sexual.

Not a problem MH! I can log in fine. Ben however still can't seem to log in. Not a big deal so take your time. He can always comment with my log in till you are able to fix things. Ben and I appreciate all the work you do to keep this site up and going. God Bless you!

It works sometimes. The other problem I've found for several months is when I go to any topic I can't get past the first page. The page number advances, but page one always remains. This is in all topics I've tried.

We desperately need to find a tech person, don't we? When you search by category, it isn't supposed to leave the page; it didn't use to. It's that second page that the numbers don't work on—and sometimes it doesn't even show all the stories in that category. But if you hit the back button, the results of the search show up on the home page like they are supposed to, and the page buttons work correctly there. Another option (thank you, StillLikeNewlyweds) is to click on any story on the results page, then click the category in the byline. That will take you to the page for that category.

Same here. I thought it was just something I had to put up with bc I use a Samsung (android) phone. I thought that the app wasn't equipped to flip to page 2 and then consequent pages.

"then click the category in the byline." What does this mean please? Sometimes I'm a tad technically challenged lol.

Thanks for all you do MH. Keep up the good work ?

Oh, sorry. I mean the line right under the title when you open a story. It goes date/# of comments/category(ies)/author. Click on the category you were looking for and it pulls up all stories in that category, and the pagination works. This is a great option if you've just read a story you loved and want more like it. You can also click on the author's name to go to their author page and see everything they've posted. And remember that you can email us a bio if you want it to show up on your author page.

Thanks MH. That's really helpful info to know. I'll be sure to remember and learn that.

Yes! Open the Google doc and use Ctrl+a to copy the entire text. Then come to MH, open the Start a New Story tab in the main menu or the My Account page, and click inside the text box. Now use Ctrl+v to paste what you previously copied into the form, then click *both* the Submit for Approval button and the Submit button. Please let me know if the process goes correctly or not, especially whether you lose any of your post in the process. Thanks!
