Great question! Being single, I don't know what my future husband will like, but I'm experimenting with different looks. So far, shaving clean is what I prefer because my pubic hair is very thick, wiry, and itchy. I've personally found I prefer to keep myself neatly trimmed as well. I do most of the work with a small electric trimmer with a guard set for 5mm. That keeps it short and neat, but not so short that it's pokey or creates issues when it grows out. But it's still short enough that it stays relatively short even after a week of growth, so I only need to spend a couple of minutes once per week to maintain it. It's VERY quick and easy! I have no discomfort problems* with this method, and I think it looks the nicest of all the options too! I have also returned to a little hair plucking to keep the base of my penis bare as well, without running into the problems shaving causes. I use some sturdy tweezers for that. It's just a small area a couple of square inches, so it doesn't take a horribly long time, and lasts longer than a shave would, so it may even save time in the long run. I may try it again though!
