Personally, I don't believe they would have engaged in anal sex as I do not believe that is in the design of our bodies. That aside, the description of Eve masturbating, thinking of Adam, is wonderful in its innocence, demonstrating Eve's sexual purity.
I have read a few times of people asking what Adam was doing before God created Eve. He was holy and whole, which includes a sexuality and sex drive that was under his full control. I believe Adam would have understood his body and its functions, including his penis. Him getting an erection would have been at will. If he had a spontaneous erection or arousal, allowing it to arise or deflate would also be under his full control.
Adam would have been aware something was missing, that his being alone meant that God had something more to come. Others have concluded that he had to be a man of masturbation, and I agree. It would have been wrong of Adam to have denied this gift from God; being holy, he would not. I do not know how much time elapsed between the creation of Adam and that of Eve; was it hours, days, weeks, or years?
