Sex Playlist (The Intro)

Hey, everyone!

So I had a great idea, and I’m hoping that it is one everyone feels as well.  I was at work yesterday, and I sing while I’m working, and as I was singing I started to sing one of the many long list of songs I love to fool around with Wifey to.  And I thought, “You know, we don’t talk about what music can do for our sex lives on MH.”

So I got home, and I’m all excited and run my idea by the wife and she said go for it.  SO! With MH permission/blessing I would like to start running a weekly article/column (as weekly as possible — those of us who write for MH know that the posting schedule is unpredictable because there are so many of us writing) called Sex Playlist.  Each week I’m going to bring one song and break it down a little and explain how it can spice up your Marriage! (Kind of like what Silver does for Kink and BDSM except for Music).

Wifey made a joke that we’ll have to make love to all of these songs to make sure they do what I say they do.

I don’t think she was joking, and I’m not complaining  🙂

So, how it would work is every Monday I plan to write about ONE song. I’ll post a link to the music video…if it’s appropriate (if they have one) and to where you can get it depending if you have an Android (Yes!) or an iPhone (get an Android already!). Or Windows. ([Crickets]). I’ll touch base on a few of the lyrics and a little peek into how you can sneak this new jam into your Sex Playlist rotation.

So yes, expect this to be mainly secular music because unfortunately Christian artist don’t usually sing about the joys of sex (One day). I will keep the songs clean as well–as much as possible.

YES! If, after a couple of posts, everyone likes what they read and hear, requests are appreciated. While I have an enormous arsenal of music, we all have different tastes, so I would appreciate it if we can accommodate everyone as much as possible.  But wait to at least Sex Playlist #3. If we make it that far by all means shoot me the request, I’ll remind everyone then as well.
