Places and Ways We’ve Made Love

A recent MH story, Crossing One Off The Bucket List,  got me thinking. Being kind and understanding and patient and empathetic with each other has made a huge difference. We also held onto our faith. We believe that Christ’s Atonement has helped heal us. If you are a survivor of any form of sexual abuse please know that you can rise above it with professional help, understanding loved ones, and with God’s help as well. If someone you love has experienced this form of abuse or even any form of abuse please be kind and understanding. There are things Melodie just couldn’t bring herself to do because of her past. But she has been able to do a lot of those things over the years of our kind marriage. For us, if one of us is triggered we talk it out.
